SORRY, NO PICTURES THIS WEEK, JUST A LOT OF DIRT

We went on vacation, wilderness camping, with all 9 puppies, 5 children and 6 adults.  I can tell you that it was indeed one of the most unique things we have ever done.

We took the puppies and kept them in an ex pen during the day, and in a kennel at night.  They needed their shots while we were on vacation and will still nursing, so mom went too.

It was dirty and the puppies just loved their trip.  Each day there was less of a mess in their kennel and we let them out more frequently to run and play.  Each day their area of play got bigger and bigger.  One day they brought back a tennis shoe, not ours, but theirs.  We didn't have any close campers so we have no idea where they found it.  They sure had fun playing with it.  One of the kids left a pair of socks too close to the puppies and that ended up as one of their play toys.  They liked pine cones, pieces of wood, swimming in their water and anything they could fit in their mouth.

While out we were at constant attack by the puppies.  No one had any tied shoe laces, all pants legs were stretched and everyone had dirty puppy prints on their shirts.  The puppies became very social in a very little period of time.  They sure had a great time and I know they would love to go again, however I think next time I will try to rest a little more.

Personally I don't know anyone that has taken 9 puppies and 5 children on a wilderness trip before.  I will remember all the joy and fun and excitement that we all experienced.
