It is an interesting time for the litter. They are just getting in a good set of teeth and are on 3 cups of kibble & hamburger daily. They all have wonderful appetites and just love feeding time. They are all social butterflies. The minute they hear human voices they run to their gate and want to be let out. So out they go first thing in the morning. They are running amongst the other puppies and older dogs as we the two puppy kennels. They are constantly letting the older dogs know that they could use more nipples than mom can supply and our older males are letting them know that they are not there to provide any nipples. They adjusted very well with the older groups and love to run and play.
They are slightly dirty in these pictures as they have been playing in the soil, rolling, digging and chasing each other. Their little noses were covered in dirt. Their feet are not only dirty, but they spilled their water in the dirt, so we have mud too. Each was combed with a slicker comb and wiped with a wet cloth, but now that I see the puppies, they did not get all clean.
They are also in a "Don't Stack Me Mode". I found out that most of the puppies would not stand on their back legs and wanted to stretch out the front legs. I had my daughter-in-law helping me instead of my husband and it was a learning experience for her to try to capture that one second when then hold still. We did very will, but missed one right side picture of a BTM.
Enjoy, we are, but now the work begins.

We finally made our choice of this pretty little red tri male. He is always on my feet trying to bite my toes and likes to play with all the other puppies and the larger dogs. Since he is our last ever puppy that we are keeping, his name will be Megabucks Just In Time, call name Justin.

She is a more middle of the pack girl. She will not rip the throat out of her littermates, but she loves to play with all the group. She is a very social girl and will make someone a great puppy. She is AVAILABLE.

What can I say. She is the most perfect out of both litters. Her conformation is very sound and her movement lovely. She is one of the first to the gate for attention and also loves playing with her bigger herd buddies. She is no longer available. She will be owned by John Frasier of Reno and the Bay Area in California. He came on Friday to look and the bonding went very well. She will be his and share his home with an Afgan Hound. Bet I can guess who will rule this little herd. There is a possibility that she will show too so we are quite excited about that.

The town clown. What a personality. He is as fast as greased lightning and will run through the food instead of stopping to eat. He loves to get out and run. His new owners will be Tim and Becky Mamross of Bishop, CA. He will join a puppy out of our "Bud" who is two years old. His name will be Megabucks Zak.

Shall I call him the "Leaning puppy of Megabucks"? There was absolutely nothing I could do to keep him straight. He is a stubborn little boy and loves to do things his way. He is one of the top of the group as he plays. Check out those dirty feet, he loves to dig. He is AVAILABLE.

He is one of our more loving boys. He is our snuggler and is more gentle with all of the other puppies in the litter. He will make a wonderful companion. He has a reservation on him.

Outgoing, can you say Outgoing. He runs full speed and just crashes into anything or anyone he wants to. When walking around him you have to do a shuffle foot as he is always under feet. He will be a more top of the litter boy. He also has those dark soul digging feet. He still likes to swim in his food. With 9 puppies we have had to add another food dish so they all get enough food. His new owners will be Patrick & Jennifer McCoy of Santa Barbara, CA.

She is lovely and outgoing. Right now you can see her cute little white feet that are covered in dirt due to her digging. She is top of the litter girl and will be a playful companion. She is AVAILABLE.

Another digger, another outgoing male. He tried to cooperate, but being the last to have his picture taken he didn't have much patience left. All the time I had been holding puppies for their picture, he was crawling over my feet and biting my toes. He will make a nice show or companion dog. He is AVAILABLE.
