We have reached our 8th week.  Some have flown to their new homes, some have been picked up for theirs.  They are more than active, come when they are called and are very people oriented.  In fact, they have learned to sneak out of their confined area.  We call it "Puppy Prison Break:.  Last night we had a "Merle Escape".  These are very smart puppies and are ready for whatever a new owner wants to have he/she do.  We are very pleased with the cross and if we were to breed again, we would repeat this breeding, but alas, this is the last of the last.  Time to pass the torch and time to just enjoy what we have done with our dogs.  Pride and joy we enjoy and wish all of our puppies a long life and the joy we found for them.

BTW, pardon the quality of some of the pictures.  I have been suffering from a summer cold and tried to hurry a litter of puppies that did not really want to have their pictures taken.  They DO have good ears, but we had a high wind day and they did not want their ears forward.  Next time we will try a squeaky toy or a duck call or something to make them make look like WE want them to.  To them they are "all growed up" and didn't need anyone to tell them what to do.  Strong minded puppies!

"Patches"

This is a very outgoing and lovely little blue girl.  She is growing like mad and eating us out of house and home.  She is an active bitch and will be leaving on August 24th to live with Todd & Cheryl Moore of Woodland Hills, CA

Megabucks Just a Little Trouble "Jinx"

He will be going to live with a dear friend, Deanna Clark and her family Cheyenne, Rhiannon (the twins), Megan & their dad Frank Dougherty
of Sonora, CA.  He will help heal their hearts as they just lost their red merle Aussie to cancer at 14 years.  Buck was their ranch dog and kept everything running on the ranch.  Buck also spent a lot of time at our ranch and I miss him too.  He had his morning rounds checking the livestock, checking to see if there was enough water in the pond to swim in and Jinx will be taking over his duties.  He is not a replacement, as no dogs can be replaced, but he will find a lonely place in their hearts to fill all by himself.  It will be a wonderful forever home..  He is people driven and loves to play with his other litter mates.

Megabucks Cherry Ripe "Cherry"

A darling little lady that seems to like to lean for her pictures today.  She is well balanced, well boned and has the very playful disposition.  She left on August 17th for her new home with Lisa Coombs in Hudson, Florida.

Megabucks Rolling Thunder "Sage"

He was born during a Desert Storm with all the thunder and lightning.  We stood outside and watched the dry lightning hit the tops of the hills.  I think some of that dramatic action carried through to this dynamic male.  He will be staying with Megabucks and will be going forward as a conformation and companion dog.  He has an escape personality and we do have trouble keeping him in anything.

"Pepper"

This is our smartest girl.  She can escape and when we catch her and put her back, she immediately goes right back into her escape area again.  She knows how to do it over and over again.  She has a darling style and a wonderful personality and was our first to leave on August 16th to become the companion of Sarah Kranitz in Sherman Oaks, CA.

We just couldn't decide on a home so Magic is staying with us, OH we had offers, but by then she had our heart.

Megabucks Witchy Woman "Magic"

What a wonderfully marked and well balanced little lady.  She has a wonderful personality, loves to play with both humans and her litter mates.  She has great structure and nice moderate bone.  She should make an excellent dog for her new owner.

"Allie"

At least her front on shot makes her look good, she sure did not want her picture taken.  She was picked up on Friday, August 17 by her new owner Gayle Frasier of Fairfield, CA.  She warmed right up to her new owners and came when she was called.  She was ready for a new home.  She will be a show girl.  I will see Gayle at the shows and get to watch this great little lady mature.
