We have made it into the fourth week and they are real puppies. They are developing their personalities daily. I had one that was shy yesterday that is now a real pistol today. They were given the opportunity to play on the lawn, but the wind was so strong that all they wanted to do was slink back between my legs and puddle in a heap. I will try the lawn again on a less windy day to see how they take to the difference from their kennel.
They have a lot of toys, two of moms and several for themselves. Some are really attracted to the toys and some are attracted to just crawling behind their kennel and sleeping. They are getting used to their paper and try to use it as much as they can. Now comes the training, daily cleaning and getting them used to being older puppies.
Yesterday our grandson came over, Austin is 17 months, he sat down and played with the puppies. He gently petted them, gave them easy loves and then he would lay down next to them, face to face, and give them little kisses. They just clamored for his attention. It was a joy to watch.
The pictures are a little better, but we still have our stubborn few that want to do it themselves and don't want to listen to you. I have all kinds of tricks to get them to stack, but sometimes no matter how many tricks I have, they will still not cooperate. As far as they are concerned "What you see is what you get". Right now I let them have the freedom of being puppies as they will be in training soon enough.
On to the puppy breath ........... ENJOY!

She is such a beautiful and playful puppy. I am thinking we may have either blue eyes, or eyes that are marbled and predominately blue. She is a nice middle of the pack sweetie. Not shy, not too outgoing. Just a sweet darling. This little girl will be finding a home with Todd & Cheryl Moore of Woodland Hills, CA. She will be living in a home with mom & dad, the girls and one *cat*, she will be a companion.

This is one spectacular male. We are watching him closely to see if he can be our choice. He is a little shorter in body than his younger red merle brother. He is very outgoing, only second in the litter. He plays, herds, dominates and frequently locks heads
with his red merle brother. He spend a lot of time with the litter and is not a loner.

This is our most playful, her tail is at a constant wiggle. She seems to either be carrying a toy, looking for a toy or using one of her littermates as a toy. Yesterday she had the little black tri female upside down and was in the process of taking off her leg. Of
course her sister didn't find that was acceptable and before you knew it this little girl was on her back with her sister on top. We think her eyes will be blue or predominately blue. Her nose is developing pigment on the bottom closest to her mouth and her merleing is getting darker. Her
name will be "Cherry" and she is going all the way to Florida to be a show girl with Lisa Coombs and family.

He might just be our boy as I am the most fascinated by him. He is the king of the litter. He is the biggest boy and likes to vocalize a great deal. He barks, growls, whines and expects me to pick him up first when I come out. His color is striking and he is
so much like his blue merle brother other than the fact that his body is just a little longer. His coloring draws your attention, and mine too. For some reason he is always the one I look at first. He will be quite the boy and may be ours.

She is still the most feminine girl in the litter. She is a lady and just loves to snuggle. Last week she was starting to show a little shyness, but by this week she has come out of her shell and is holding her own with her domineering littermates. She has a lovely
head and body and reminds me so much of her mother Liz. She will not be a very big girl. In standard, not at the small size, but not big like her sisters. This is one more puppy that a buyer from Marlene Constance, the stud dog owner, wants to keep a watch out for.

Today she had all her own ideas. She did not want to stack, she didn't want to play our game and when we put her back in the laundry basket she kept trying to get out (see below). She has a wonderful conformation a great head and abounds with personality. She will
play with the litter quite a bit, then she will go lay behind the kennel to get her private down time. She is no slouch in the litter, but she wants it her way. Marlene Constance, owner of the stud dog, has someone interested in her. Nothing concrete yet, but they are making up their mind
between this and one, the one above her and one from the Dealer/Maddie litter.

A very special little lady with a very special marking. I have had it once before in my puppies. It comes from my lines and traces back to the foundation lines I am so close to. If you notice the little pink stripe going from her nose up to her eyes, it is a
cowlick. It grows against the grain and looks like a little Mohawk hair cut. Hopefully as she gets older it will photograph more. Overall this girl is still perfect and has the probability of being a great show dog. Her markings are perfect and her structure is to standard. I hope
her new owner will consider showing her, I think they will be pleased with the outcome. This spectacular big girl is going to live with Gayle Frasier, her husband and their BMF Aussie, Roxie. They live in Fairfield, CA.

| A couple of basket shots. Notice in the first shot that the black tri female #2 is trying to get out of the basket. I wonder how long we can keep her there. In the second basket shot she is trying to find a better escape route. She is a very curious little girl. | |
