And then we are three.  With Aussies things change so quickly.  Eyes and ears are open now, they can see and they can hear.  They come to our voices and just love to be held and petted.  They are also very full of Puppy breath.  When you hold them close to hour nose, they start licking, and tapping at you with their paws.

They are adorable, but will be more adorable later, They grow so fast,  it is so much fun to be a part of it.  They eyes are becoming clear, they still flinch when they see a movement close to their eyes, they do not see clearly enough to know the difference from a friendly hand, or something to fear.  Their eyes are showing their color.  We will have to wait, but it looks like we have a few non brown eyes.  We will keep checking and post the colors of the eyes each week.

This is also a big week for the puppies.  They are no longer in the house.  They have moved to the "garage Kennel".  It is like a Kennel Spa.  Their room has cushioned horse padding, the garage well insulated, and the heat lamps add extra warmth.  WE have a tarp around the kennel.  Mom can come and go as she wishes.  The puppies are now good at regulating their body heat, so they move from close to further away from the heat source.  They ARE growing so fast.

Black Tri Female, 2 lb 8 oz  --  Be still my heart. how could you not love a puppy so perfect as this.  She is lighter boned and oh so perfect.  Those markings are just great.  The white is as it should be and the copper is dark.  Oh what a special puppy.  I have my eye on this girl or her sister, they are so very different.  Not only their color, but personalities.  This lady has her own "whatever" attitude, but still loves to snuggle.  She pushes herself through the sleeping pile, but is not as pushy as our red girl.  Good thing we have a few more weeks to watch these girls grow.

Blue Merle Male, 3 lb 3 oz  --  A pup with his own ideas.  He likes to do things HIS way and is quite a social puppy, he likes his other kennel mates, but a human voice can pull him away easily.  His color is darkening, and it is almost black, the tip of his left ear is truly black, and I think the rear leg on the right side could be dark.  Those eyes will be all blue or partially blue.  This little guy will be a companion placement, as he is that most striking unique dilute color.  Beautiful, but a fault in the show ring.  He will also be available as a do anything boy.  Maybe agility, obedience, stock, SAR or what his new owners may want.  He will be whatever his new owners wish of him, including keeping the lap or feet warm.

Black Tri Male, 3 lb  --  Chet Conlin and his wife Cindy visited his boy this week, we know now that his call name will be Max, Chet and Cindy are still thinking of a striking registered name.  This boy is going to the show ring.  He is quite a copy of his Dad, he has the strongest bone, and yes those markings are very much like his dad AND his BTB sister.  Not bad as far as I am concerned.  Oh yes his eyes are brown, but since his dad has a very small blue spot in left eye.  We will look closely as they grow to see if we get anything other than brown eyes.

Blue Merle Male, 3 lb 3 oz  --  Oh this guy is SO nice too.  He reminds me of his mother's coloring in the face, that split with a lot of copper.  He might have blue or marbled eyes.  We do know they will not be brown.  He is outgoing, had himself a nice head and a most unusual color pattern a great personality too.  He likes to come to the human voice. He likes his litter mates, but is a strong dominate players, but likes the other dogs.  He is a thinker and you can see he is trying to work things.  With this dominate merled black tri, he still seems to be "show potential", but he might stay at Megabucks.

Red Merle Female, 3 lb 0 oz  --  She is quite the individual little lady.  There is so much to say about her that I could fill a full page.  She is SO darling in the first two photos, but notice in the last one she is complaining, she likes things her way.  The is a big girl, she has a bigger body, more bone, a heavier head than her sister, not less feminine, just different.  Her color has developed to a very interesting, but correct.  Nice long body and neck,  Great full collar and wide white blaze.  Her eyes may be marbled, they don't seem to be full blue, but puppies eyes change so much through their life, they can even change more until they are a year of age.  I will enjoy watching this girl grow.

Black Tri Male, 2 lb 5 oz  -- Our darling, our lover.  This is one sweet companion puppy, is loving, loves to snuggle.  He comes readily to the human voice and just loves to be picked up and held on his back for scratching and massaging.  He really enjoys his people.  His eyes will be a dark brown, very typical of a black tri Aussie, but then again, Knowing Aussies you never really do know exactly how they will turn out until the grow and mellow, and owning one will you to enjoy and experience all the stages the Aussies go through.  AHHH, they are fun to watch and live with.

Blue Merle Male, 3 lb 0 oz  --  As you can see this powder blue boy has a will of his own.  That IS a strangle hold I have on his neck in one of the pictures.  He still looks like soft gray ball of fluff, and with that dark copper he is striking.  He is a man with his own ideas, but he likes loves just like his brothers, they are all alike in that.  As for those eyes, at least they will not be brown, but we are not sure what mixture of blue they may have.

The top is a basket full of pups just after their photos and the bottom is their garage kennel.  They are still a learning how to deal with "outside", but adjust they will.  The red glow is a heat lamp, there are two and they can move from one to the other, or somewhere in between.  It makes them brave and loving.  They get to listen to radio, talk not music.  That helps them get ready for human voices.  There is still lots more training.  We work hard with our puppies and provide the VERY BEST puppy you can own.
