HIS COLOR IS RED AND SO IS HIS NAME.
MAY WE INTRODUCE
"RED"
HE WAS ALWAYS "UNDERDOG" TO US, BUT IT WAS A TIME FOR A NEW NAME AND A NEW LIFE
| This was the sickest of the group, our
"Underdog", such a love that might not make it, but he proved
us all wrong. Not only did he get well and STAY well at an early
age, but he developed into a very interesting male. He has the
look of eagles, he will stare through you with that intense look and you
just know he is thinking of what he might do next. He is very biddable,
very calming and is just one of those spectacular dogs. Jacqui
Teffs of Sun Valley, Nevada has been lucky enough to get this little boy
to share her home.
Her only problem is that since we don't usually name our puppies it is usually never a problem, but since this little boy had such a hard start we called him "Underdog" from the first day we saw him. By six weeks of age we would call "UNDERDOG" in a loud voice and his little sick head would snap up and he would jump to his feet and acknowledge his name. Later with the improvement of his health he did become "WONDERdog" and our granddaughter Brittney even called him "Ungerdog", but whatever his name was here, he somehow doesn't like the names Jacqui tries on him. He turns his head and ignores any new name. Right now she is trying the name "Red", it seems to fit and he seems to tolerate the name better than any other, but she is giving the little red guy some time to see what HE wants, because he seems to like to keep control of his environment. So may we present .................. one we will always remember as "Underdog", but is now NOT AN UNDERDOG and is a beautiful red tri male. These pictures were taken when he was six months of age
He was placed in a home just after these pictures. Unfortunately I haven't heard from his owner. He still holds a special place in our hearts.
