MEGABUCKS ROLLING THUNDER "Sage"

AKC / ASCA Ch Laurelwood's Workin The Angles "Dealer" X Jr. Int'l/AKC Ch Megabucks Just Dealin Diamonds "Liz"

Date of Birth: June 20, 2007

He was the most beautiful puppy.  Great temperament and a love to be around.  Then as he grew he got bigger and bigger and bigger.  As my husband said " I always wanted a 60 lb. lap dog.  He is too big to really compete in the dog ring, but so loving that he competes at home.  He is too big, pink nosed and a wonderful companion.  He will stay with us forever.

MEGABUCKS JUMPIN JAX FLASH "Jax"

Colorado's Jax Are Wild X Fantasia's Red Hot Megabucks

Date of Birth: May 20, 2001

Jax provided us with two wonderful litters, one litter throwing the softest powder blue bitch, born almost white, but colored strikingly with age.  She is a silly girl and can never get enough.  When she gets on your lap she just quivers and turns circles so you can get each and every part of her petted, her tail never stops wiggling.

We are retiring Jax because we don't need more puppies than we can handle.  Her puppies are very active and we like a much calmer dog.

Fantasia's Being In Da Gold "Chia"

AKC/ASCA CH Fantasia's Kaliedscope X Firethornes Gold Bearer

Date of Birth: January 27, 1997

Chia has been an integral part of our breeding program for several.  She came to us as a two year old, tore a CCL that never healed right.  She also came with two Reserves and was going to be our GREAT Show Bitch.  Alas that did not happen, but she has become our heart and the warm dog on our laps while we watch TV.

She was retired from breeding upon reaching her 8th birthday.  Her future is that of a loved house dog, and the mother of many of our babies.

She is just a very lovely girl that gave us very lovely babies, and all her love too!

Las Rocosa Hunter "Hunt"

Las Rocosa Rejoneador x Wolfen of Windsor

Date of Birth: April 11, 1994

Hunter, what can I say.  He is a prick eared character with a small man's attitude.  If you put him in the CJ7 and left him there for the rest of his life, he would think he had died and gone to Heaven.  He LOVES to go Jeeping in the desert.  He is also the best puppy babysitter I have ever had, he thinks all puppies were put on earth just for HIM.

With age Hunter has become the "Grouchy Old Man".  He growls at everything and everyone.  He is a very small male and his attitude can hold off three large males in the Laundry Room.  He is liked by none of the other dogs, but loved by us.  He just has a bit of an attitude that is all his.

RJM Las Rocosa Bo Tyler "Tyler"

Las Rocosa Tom Bo x Las Rocosa Cheyenne (Pride)

Date of Birth: March 24, 1996

My HEART DOG.  What a beauty, so quick with the ball or the frisbee.  If he could pick his own special day it would be playing fetch and ball all day long.  His favorite is to bring me the current fetch object and set it 'just a little bit too far away for me to reach it'.  I tell him "I can't reach it", then he will pick it up and hand it to me.  He also is a soul comforting dog.  When you have a bad day, he will lay close and just rest a part of him next to you and let his energy flow into you.  When I had my back surgery, he was my "blankee", I love this dog with all my heart, only Willy even comes close to the wonder and love I feel for my boy Ty.

Tyler is now aging and likes to go outside, take a couple of laps around the house, then come into the house again and grab a corner of the couch and snooze for a while to regain his energy.  Tyler has severe thyroid problems and it makes his coat so hard to manage.  He was only bred once and he passed his autoimmune problem onto his son Hunter.

Fantasia's Caught Red Handed "Willy"

AKC/ASCA Ch Fantasia's Heart-Breaker X ASCA Ch Fantasia's Sensation

Date of Birth: November 28, 1997

Willy came to us at 2 years of age.  I was told he had been abused by a woman and would not accept anything but a man.  The very first time I saw Willy it was LOVE at first site, our bond was set.  Now Willy will not leave my side for anything.  When I was injured in my first car accident, Willy would lay on the bed with his body next to my back.  No one could get him out of the room but me.  Terry would even have to feed him with me.  Willy hasn't changed much.  He still will not leave my side if I am in bed and he is famous for getting up on the bed and putting his nose next to mine, or covering my neck with his neck.  He is indeed a soul mate.

Willy produced several nice litters and they all seem to share his great soft coat and his devotion.  I still hear from those owners as to how great their dogs grew up and how they have changed their families.  Willy definitely passes his great temperament and devotion onto his offspring

Megabucks Bull Rustler

RJM Las Rocosa Bo Tyler x Pura Hazel

Date of Birth: April 2, 1997

Rustler was that 'special puppy' we kept for all the wrong reasons.  My mother lived with us then and Rustler was always "Mr. Rustle Your Bustle".  He would sneak into her room at night and plaster her with wet doggie kisses.  Some of my fondest memories of my mother are entwined with Rustler.  That night time giggle to save her from the slobbery puppy waking her up for "just one more love".  Megabucks Ranch needs a Russ, he makes sure the garbage truck stays away and the local horses don't get too close to our fencing.  He LOVES to sing each morning, and he has quite a voice.

As an older dog Rustler is always the first to bark and let everyone know that there is something out there.  Unfortunately he also barks with ANY movement.  You can't get out of a chair, answer the phone, turn off or on the TV without Russ letting all the other dogs know that this is a special occasion to bark.
