GRAMMY IS SURE PROUD Not only is she the "apple of my heart", but she is so much fun with the dogs. She has picked HER dog from the herd and when she is here she will play with Meg. Brittney will grab Meg around her neck and take Meg into her bedroom, close the door and they play together. So far we haven't had any dressed up dog, but Meg would allow that. When Brittney is not here, Meg sleeps loose in the house. With Brittney here she shares her room and sleeps on the foot of her bed. Brittney has had a small fear problem when she goes to bed at night, but with Meg on the foot of her bed, all fears vanished. In the morning, Meg will not allow any of the other dogs into their bedroom in the morning. Please share our joy and view the pictures below. They are Best Friends. |
| The rest are just a Grammy's brag, and the joy in seeing Brittney and Meg share a bond they will remember all their lives.

BEST FRIENDS On August 22, 2003, Meg became Brittney's forever. It was her birthday present. She knows how to take care of all of the 17 kennel dogs, so she figured she could handle Meg. It was hard for us to leave her there, but Brittney said "Grammy, you know where she lives, you can visit her anytime. Don't worry, I love her". As I left the party and looked back, there was Brittney holding her Meg by her collar and waving good bye. I know it was the right thing, but I still had those "dog placement" tears. |
